L'Arte per l'Arte at Estense Castle in Ferrara

The rearrangement of the exciting masterpieces exhibition of Ferrarese artists Giovanni Boldini and Filippo de Pisis.

At Estense Castle in Ferrara you can admire the masterpieces of Giovanni Boldini and Filippo de Pisis, great painters and international protagonists of the century art scene.
Evocative masterpieces selected back to light from the Modern Art and Contemporary Art Gallery Collections of Palazzo Massari and remained hidden after the earthquake of 2012.
It's a charming gallery in a semi-temporary exhibition, located inside the sumptuous representation apartment on the main floor Castle and the famous Camerini of Alfonso I.

With this initiative, the Modern Art and Contemporary Art Gallery of Ferrara and the Ferrara Arte Foundation participate, together with the Municipality of Ferrara, in a project for the cultural promotion and environmental heritage of the Emilia-Romagna Region, "L’Arte per l’Arte". An ideal journey from the city to the territory, through recovered and enhanced sites by European funding, discovering beautiful places often outside the usual tourist visit to the city.
