Opera at the Castle: La Bohème

The exclusive appointment with a masterpiece of melodrama

Thursday, July 9th at 9.00 pm, backs the appointment with the Opera masterpieces at the exciting performance of Puccini's La Bohème, in the picturesque setting of the inner courtyard of the Castello Estense, Ferrara.

The show inspired by the Henri Murger's novel "Scenes de la vie de bohème", is divided into four scenes.
It's tells the joyful and carefree existence of a young artists group, in the bohemian Paris of 1830.
The story develops in several episodes, describing feelings of love, carefree, nostalgia and melancholy love.

In case of rain the show will take place on Saturday, July 11th at 9.00 pm.

Tickets are on sale at Castello Estense during the day of the performance, from 8.00 pm till the start of the show and online at www.teatrocomunalediferrara.it, from June 18th to July 9th.
